South African delegation in Tanzania to repatriate Thabo Bester

The Deputy National Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Tebello Mosikili is leading the South African delegation to Tanzania. The South African team has also visited the Arusha Central Prison where the three are being detained. Two options are being considered in the process to bring Bester, Magudumana and Alberto to South Africa. They are likely to be deported as they entered Tanzania illegally with fake passports that were not stamped at the border. The other option is extradition which takes longer as it involves a legal aid court process.
