The launch of the Google for startup fund held in Abuja, Nigeria heralds the previously announced grant of a total of $4million in funding and support to 60 eligible black-founded startups across Africa.
The Google for Startups Black Founders Fund program will introduce the grantees in Africa to Google’s products, connections, , methodologies and best practices which will help the founders to level the playing field as they build better products and services.
Google getting involved in the development of the African entrepreneurial sector will bring about a lot of development because African startups will begin to engage with the amount of resources .
