Sowore Calls Tinubu A Criminal+ DSS Wants X To Ban Sowore + Sujimoto Accused of N5.7M Fraud| OjyOkpe


The Department of State Services (DSS) has requested X (formerly Twitter) to deactivate the account of activist and politician, Omoyele Sowore, claiming one of his tweets is a threat to national security.

The DSS stated that Sowore's post, which calls President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a criminal, violates several Nigerian laws.

In defiance, Sowore has refused to delete the tweet, describing the DSS letter as an "assault on institutions."

In Enugu State, the government is accusing Sujimoto Luxury Construction CEO Ola Sijibomi Ogundele of defrauding the state of ₦5.7 billion.

The funds were reportedly for the construction of 22 schools that were left largely incomplete. Sujimoto has denied the allegations, citing inflation and foreign exchange volatility as reasons for the delays. He claims to have received only ₦5.2 billion and has provided photos of the work in progress.
