More than two dozen foreign heads of state and government - including Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong - have been invited to attend a massive military parade in Beijing on Wednesday (Sep 3). The parade marks 80 years since the formal surrender of Japan during World War II and is expected to showcase some of China’s most advanced homegrown weapons.
