Post-match press conference with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim after their 1-1 draw away to Leeds United at Elland Road in the Premier League.

Leeds United went ahead before Manchester United responded with an equaliser to earn a point in a high-intensity atmosphere at Elland Road.

Amorim praises the environment, says United had more possession and more chances than the opponent, and feels the team showed improvement compared to last week, particularly in their connections and positioning.

He highlights the impact of his substitutes, saying they brought energy, helped create spaces, and improved United’s attacking play.

Amorim also defends his striker after missed chances, insisting getting into the right positions is the most important step and that once the first goal comes, the pressure will ease.

The United boss then strongly addresses speculation around his role, stressing he came to Manchester United to be the manager, not just the coach, and makes clear he will not quit, saying he will continue to do his job until the board decide otherwise.
