At the Unstoppable Africa 2025 Summit in New York, held alongside the 80th UN General Assembly (UNGA80), our CEO Silas Adekunle shared a powerful message on why Africa must take the driver’s seat in the AI revolution and why AI must be ethical and representative of who we are as Africans, stating: “Access to the digital economy should not come at the expense of the erasure of our culture or way of life.”

He also highlighted one of Awarri’s key commitments - empowering society by creating job opportunities for young Nigerian and African talent to build homegrown technology solutions.

In closing, he left the room with a bold conviction: “Africa will lead in AI, because of its young people. Invest in them.”
