Ofege remains one of the bands that impacted the Nigerian music scene in the 1970s.
They recorded and released their songs and albums as high school students at St. Gregory, Obalende Lagos. As typical of the 70's bands, their music was a fusion of Afro rhythms, funk and rock. As with every boy band across the world, the band was well-loved across Nigeria and other West Afican countries.
